Timothy Hurley & The Vultures hail the mining hills of the Kootenays. From the top of the mountain, to the valleys below Alt. Soul, Reggae, Rock grooves, do flow. Influenced by likes of Bob Marley, Bill Withers,Ben Harper and Sublime, the band rocks, grooves, and skanks.
Tim Hurley, grew up in a musical household in Rossland, BC. His Caribbean and British roots can be felt in his music. He released his first solo album—June—in the summer of 2016.
“Crafty, catchy, soulful and definitely road trip ready,” Tariq Hussain, member of Vancouver band Brasstronaut, says of Hurley's first solo effort.
This was Hurley's third time in the studio, having previously recorded two albums as frontman of Vancouver band, Ross Vegas, named after his home town. The band also opened for two-time Juno award winner Dan Mangan in Vancouver in 2006.
Hurley is currently preparing to record this summer as well as playing solo, duo and full band shows in Sounthern B.C.
